there is only one direction, and time is its only measure." Thanks to the TS (teenaged stepdaughter) for turning me on to Tom Stoppard's "Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Are Dead," the source of that quote. Said quote seems to apply perfectly to knitting: for all of my last post's talk of unraveling in different directions, in the end, it all translates to time--and time, and more time. Sigh.
Here's another lovely tidbit from "R&C Are Dead": "...staggering from the suicidal to the merely idle." Winter blues, anyone? Of course, the fact that everyone in the family has been awash in a sea of phlegm for the last week--that may have something to do with the blue mood in our house.
By the way, I've added charts for the Pinnacle Chevron scarf and the Seaweed scarf to my "free patterns" photo album.
Hi there,
I have a pretty random question to ask you! :) I'm moving my blog from xanga to typepad, and am trying to put in the codes for my webrings. I went to the knitting bloggers website, but couldn't find much help there. You were the first typepad person in the latest listing of "adds", so I figure you've done it quite recently, and you probably remember how you did it! And insight would be greatly appreciated!! :D thanks!
p/s hope you and your family get better soon!

I'll look up the code in my webrings typelist and email it to you; for some reason the graphic didn't make it in to the button when I joined, but it still works.

England - I don't believe in it.
A conspiracy of cartographers?
Ok. I'll stop!

"Life in a box is better than no life at all.... You could lie there thinking — well, at least I'm not dead!" Ha!
Thanks for the welcome.
