because it was a gorgeous day, because I'm still waiting for yarn for a project for the spring 2009 issue of Twist Collective, because it was more appealing than the idea of sitting down and writing out the patterns for this jumper and that hat (although I did a little of that, too).
It's kinda tricky using the self-timer and getting the right things in focus and the light levels in the right ballpark; it would be a lot easier with a shutter release cable, or a wireless remote control. Or a photographer. Or a model. *Sigh*. Jack (or Jill) of all trades, as they say....
Both are really cute.
Does your camera have an option for a continuous mode with a timer? I can take up to 10 photos with one go, with my little canon, and I've seen it on other brands as well.
Anyway, just a thought. :)

that jumper is great! it could be made longer for a really flattering dress with those lines. love it.

I think you did a great job with the pictures despite the constraints. And the knits are really cute too :)

I agree about making it a dress. It would be terrific!

Love how you put together your Sherwood jumper.

I love this jumper as is (and also probably a little longer) and have been looking for something similar for a year already. (When I Ravel "jumper" a thousand little girls' dresses always come up... or English sweaters). I'm a little afraid of the cables though, although I love the design they make.
