Errata for Circles Vest

Stitch counts for the front sections immediately after “Divide for Front & Back/Shape Armholes” are wrong, because they don’t take into account the sts already decreased by the neck shaping. Here are the correct Front stitch counts (Back stitch counts are fine): 31 (35, 40, 43, 48, 51, 56, 60). These are calculated using the row counts given in the pattern, so if you are just measuring the work in progress to decide when to begin neck and underarm shaping, these counts could be off by a stitch (shouldn’t be more than that unless your row gauge is way off). 

Leaf Yoke Top pattern now available as PDF download

I've had a number of knitters ask me if the Leaf Yoke pattern, originally published in Knit.1 Spring/Summer 2009, was available anywhere else. Well, I just checked the Vogue Knitting online pattern store, and YES, it has recently become available for purchase as a pdf download for $6. 

By the way the version of the top shown in this blog post is NOT the version you will get from the published pattern-- I used a finer yarn, so the yoke is narrower and sits lower around the shoulders. But there are some helpful hints in the post about picking up stitches from the yoke for the body.
